photo-a-day day 31

{Photo-a-Day Project: A personal project that I undertake every January, taking one photo each day of the month of my sweet little girls.}

Coming in early July. :)

Obviously this means that I wont be taking any weddings in July or August, and only 1 more in June. Contact me as soon as possible if you're getting married April-June. For my own sanity I'll only be taking 4 more weddings in that time period (1 in April, 2 in May, 1 in June, then I am TOTALLY booked), so make haste!

Thank you so much to all of the amazing brides that have already booked for 2013! I can't believe how fast I've booked the first half of this year! You all rock my socks off!

There is no denying these silly little ladies are awfully cute.

Lots of snow today. Lucy lasted about 5 minutes outside before she was "too freezing."

This lady might be the death of me. She's so intense. All. The. Time.

Mr. + Mrs. Johnson

Love these two. If you remember them (from here) you'll remember that they are my brother-in-law and new sister-in-law! They got married at the end of November (look how lovely and warm it looks...) and it was a perfect day! I'm so glad Travis found a girl as amazing as Cari. They are the best.

(You'll see a couple glimpses of my little ladies and their two cute cousins if you watch close. :) Enjoy!)

The Reception was at the Southworth Hall in Provo. It was lovely.

Lucy always offers Lylah horsey rides. Lylah happily accepts them, even though Lucy can't get her off the ground. They think they're funny. Okay, they sort of are.

It was a long day today, so our picture was at the end of the day. Love these two boogers.

I was not above bribing my children today. Lucy was a stinker all day, so I told her if she listened to me really well then she could get a treat at the store. But by the time we got to the store it was dinner time, so I talked her into these balloon/bubble things instead. I remember them from when I was young and I loved them. These ladies loved them too, although Lylah couldn't figure out how to make them blow for the life of her.

Sometimes we just let Lylah be the boss of the shopping cart. It's easier.

Miss Lylah has this silly, evil sounding laugh that she uses when she's being naughty. We think it is hilarious!

This girl flashes the cheesiest grin when a camera points her direction. I'm trying to teach her that she can do more serious faces and they'll be pretty too. It's not going as well as one might have hoped.

My family has the best tradition for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. A big group of us (all the cousins, aunts, and uncles that can go) go ice skating with my Grandpa. He is really good. He helps the little kids skate and plays tag with the older kids. We love that he is in such great health and we can enjoy such fun activities with him! Lucy loved skating with her great-grandpa!

Lylah liked skating too. But she was very insistent that she got her own pair of skates. Turns out, they have itty bitty size 5 baby skates. They were adorable and Lylah and her cousin Elle were thrilled!

These babies really love their kitty--Donald Michael Stout After Don Don.

I've totally been forgetting to post these every day, but I have been taking them!

Day 19, Kyle is such a good daddy. He is much more of a morning person than I am, so he always gets up with the girls and gets them breakfast so I can sleep a little longer. The girlies get to watch a show, I get extra sleep. It's a great system.

John and McKenzi, formal session

These two darlings tied the knot yesterday, so I can finally show off these! I had so much fun at this session--they are just so cute together!

We took these up at the Capitol Building in Salt Lake. It's a fabulous location for this ridiculously cold weather we've been enduring lately.

Kenzi decided to do the "first look". John's reaction was so darling...

Now photos from the actual session...

I am completely booked through the end of March. April and May are filling up quick, so be sure to contact me soon if you're going to be getting married this spring!
